Dryer Vent Process – 13 STEPS

  1. Test dryer and check connection
  2. Disconnect dryer vent tube from dryer
  3. Open dryer and remove the lint trap
  4. Connect suction to back of dryer exhaust
  5. Using air and brushes from lint trap access, dislodge lint
  6. From dryer exhaust, brush and reverse blow while creating suction
  7. Turn on dryer
  8. Check for thorough cleaning
  9. Create suction on dryer exhaust tube
  10. Using brushes and air, reverse blow the entire exhaust tube
  11. Re-assemble dryer and exhaust tube
  12. Turn on and check the solid connection
  13. If accessible, clean exhaust over (outside of the house)
